Boards and Beyond UK officially opened in 2026, but the journey began back in 2019, when I launched Love Laura Laser Designs as a one-woman business on Etsy. For the next five and a half years, I designed, made, packed, and posted every order myself while learning, experimenting, and refining my craft.
During that time, I discovered my niche and the product I truly loved creating...personalised boards designed to celebrate special moments. From that passion, Boards and Beyond UK was born.
What started as a solo venture has since grown into a family run business. I’m the creative one behind the scenes, designing and making each product, fixing the machines, and running our Instagram. My husband joined me as our business and strategy director, keeping everything in check with finances, the website, marketing, and the general business side of things.
And of course, it wouldn’t be a family business without the rest of the team! Minnie, our cocker spaniel and head of security, keeps a close eye on deliveries, while Tommy, our operations manager, ensures everything runs to schedule between naps!
At Boards and Beyond UK, I create personalised letters, numbers, and shapes for birthdays, anniversaries, engagements, and other special occasions. Choose from photo collage designs, themed prints, or plain boards ready for your own DIY creativity. Each piece is designed to be displayed, enjoyed, and treasured for years to come.
